I decided to get married in Spain because my husband is Spanish and we had our first date in Mijas Village after we met so I wanted desperately to get married in the village but I really didn’t know where to start in arranging it. I researched wedding planners in Spain and Julie was the only one that replied to me so quickly and efficiently. At this point i knew she was the one to trust in organising my wedding.
Our wedding was definitely the most perfect day and still our guests say that it was the best wedding they ever attended. I was very specific in what i wanted and not always traditional but whatever i asked Julie to find for me she did and always found the best as i am a real perfectionist but she impressed me every time.
On the actual day she stayed through the whole wedding and reception and all my worries of timings were completely taken out of my hands and sorted out by Julie and it went brilliantly. We had lots of entertainment and our flamenco group were the absolute best – even our guests from Seville were impressed. Julie found them and negotiated a great rate, how they were going to set up etc – all the things that would have been impossible for me to arrange from England.
We send a big thankyou to Julie for being so professional and always answering any request so quickly, meeting us on her days off and always showing that it was never a problem for her to do anything. Julie was always calm and assuring me everything was ok- it takes a special person to have that amount of patience and still remain upbeat – she is the reason i did not get stressed as most brides usually do! She made us feel like our wedding was the most special and nothing was a chore – we highly recommend Julie and when i move over to Spain in a few months i will keep in touch with her, as not only is she brilliant at organising weddings, she is a great person too. I assure everyone this service is money well spent – thank you Julie for everything!

When we decided to marry in Spain, we knew we needed assistance to get it all organised perfectly. We did approach a few wedding planners originally, however we opted for the best!!!

All our family and friends are still raving about it, the whole week was just amazing. The pre-wedding party was a great idea, as it got everyone together before the event!
The after-wedding celebration was a massive hit, and the wedding second to none.

We would like to thank Julie for making our wedding day so amazing. The day was just out of this world and Julie had everything organised to perfection.
Hotel Tamisa is such a fabulous venue and everyone there made us and our guests feel so special and welcome. The food was beautiful and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. There is not one thing we could fault.
Everything was so easy going and amazing, our guests are still talking about it. I would recommend Julie and Hotel Tamisa to anyone who wants the ideal, romantic wedding with that little extra something! It was the best day ever.
We can’t wait to go back for our First Year Anniversary!

What a great decision we made when we took on Julie as our Wedding Planner…
We were married on September 1st at the Tamisa Golf Hotel and everything went like a dream. We had over 60 guests and virtually every one of them said it was the best wedding function they had ever attended. The hotel was first-class (well-deserved 4-star rating) and the management and staff could not have been more helpful and understanding. Absolute professionalism, with a lovely personal touch, from Manager John Peach and his staff . I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.
But, at the end of the day, the person who must be given the gold medal for putting it all together is Julie Dixon, our planner and friend now!!! This lady is an absolute diamond – nothing was too much trouble and she is one of the most sincere and genuine people I have ever met. She was professional, efficient and anything we asked of her on the run up to the wedding was never a problem. She organised absolutely every detail, both big and small for our Big Day. She even organised all of our guests accommodation in Spain!!
I cannot recommend her enough, and I think it’s an absolute must to have such a service when planning a wedding abroad. It’s a day we will never forget and I don’t think any of the guests will either!!
